It’s an excuse for me, Henry, to keep writing and developing my thinking on the big question: how do we deal with a techno-economic system that’s messing up a beautiful world?

Having studied and worked for ten years as an activist and writer with Local Futures and its founder Helena Norberg-Hodge, I have learnt to frame the question of systemic change less in terms of left versus right, less in terms of economy vs environment, and more in terms of scale, speed, and structures. I am now compelled to communicate this work in my own voice.

I aim to be critical yet optimistic, radical yet diplomatic, idealistic yet pragmatic.

Oh, and I might be posting some impractical poetry too.
